I was driving on the highway the other day and to my amusement and surprise, the title of this post was the text on a bumper sticker plastered to the back of an oversized SUV.
I hope and pray that the Republican Party will be stupid enough to nominate Sarah Palin as their 2012 Republican Presidential Candidate. She was not qualified to be Vice President and I don’t care if you give her four or forty years, she will not be qualified to be President of the United States?
The Republican Party is in trouble. I am not sad at all about this fact. After all of these years, their vile tactics and politics of division and careful trickery have caught up with them. The chickens are coming home to roost. I am ecstatic that Sarah Palin is their hopeful saviour. There are other names you hear like Bobby Jindal and Rush Limbaugh but she is the frontrunner by most accounts.
I am further amused that even with his millions of listeners that would support him, they can’t put a crackhead (excuse me, Oxycontin addict) like Rush Limbaugh in office. Besides, he’s too smart to run and expose all of that dirty laundry. The newly nominated head of the Republican National Committee, Robert Steele, has stuck his foot in his mouth right out of the gate and gotten into a pissing contest with a very well-liked and powerful media figure that talks to millions of hypnotized listeners everyday. While he quickly retreated to a neutral corner with a standing eight count, how naive can he be. It’s oh so fun to watch.
For those with short memories, don’t forget these words that came out of Rush Limbaugh’s mouth a little over a month ago, “I hope he fails.” I challenge you all to pay attention to what’s going on. It’s so entertaining to watch those that have been so accustomed to power and influence maneuver as they deal with a very uncomfortable fact that CHANGE is here. Here’s to Sarah Palin in 2012.
Forward…
